Art has always been at the heart of Woollahra's cultural identity. Since the arrival of early settlers, artists, sculptors, and craftspeople have made Woollahra their home, establishing studios, workshops, and independent galleries throughout the suburb.

The Woollahra Art Gallery, with its new exhibition, has been a frequent visitor to Woollahra families since the early settlers. In 1897, the first private art gallery was opened and it was called Redleaf, A few decades later, other properties became art galleries, antiques shops, enriching the lives of residents.

Over time, the area blossomed into a vibrant art precinct, with local art galleries, antique stores, and boutique studios opening on Queen Street, Moncur Street, and Jersey Road.
